Jean is one of the friendly faces that will great you when you enter our office. She ensures that the schedule and front desk both run smoothly. Jean resides in Viera and is originally from Long Island, New York.
She has been in the dental field for 18 years and has filled virtually every position at one time or another. Her education includes courses from Eastern Florida State College, Concorde Career Institute for Dental Assisting, and multiple continuing education conferences. Jean loves her coworkers and all of the nice, appreciative people she meets as patients – she enjoys working with patients on a personal level.
When she’s not working, Jean likes to spend time with her four boys and her fiancé, traveling, going to the beach, cooking, kayaking, sports, and the New York Yankees. Jean also enjoys volunteering for her boys’ football and baseball functions. There is never a dull moment in Jean’s life!
Tena, an expanded functions dental assistant, received her degree from Brevard Community College in Dental Assisting in 1986. She has been in Dentistry for 33 years and enjoys working with and helping patients reach their goals.
She feels very fortunate to be part of such an incredibly talented team and looks forward to contributing with her passion and experience.
When she is not working, she enjoys going to the gym, outdoor recreation including boating, kayaking, camping, swimming and hiking. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years and her little dog, Sassy!
Julie loves meeting and getting to know new people! This, to her, is the best part of being a dental hygienist. She enjoys having long-standing relationships with patients and she feels there is comfort in consistency - when she knows you personally she can tailor treatment to fit your needs. Julie has been in dentistry since 1992 with a focus on hygiene since 1996.
Away from the office, Julie loves spending time outdoors, primarily in the water. She likes live music and loves Alabama football.
Geri is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received both an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene and Associates of Art Degree from Brevard County Community College as well as her Bachelor degree in Health Science from Nova South Eastern University. She is a native of Florida, and graduated from Merritt Island High School. Working with Dr. Waggener since 2005 has allowed her to build long-lasting relationships with her patients and to provide them with quality care in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Geri enjoys photography and making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities by raising and training puppies to become guides for the Guide Dog Foundation. Take a look at her page on this website to see the photo album of her puppies and the people they now help, as well as her current “pupil.” Geri & her husband became the proud parents to their beautiful son Eli in 2013.
Lori has been a dental assistant for 20 years, and was trained at EFSC. She feels that the best part of her job has been serving people in our community.
In her free time, she enjoys family, reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, singing, and serving her church. The greatest joy is raising her three kids. Lori feels blessed to be working with Dr. Rick, Dr. Cole, and his caring team.
Jodi is our Financial & Insurance Coordinator. She has a great amount of experience working with insurance companies and helping patients afford the dental care they need. Jodi previously worked for our office from 1996-2004 but took some time to raise her three boys at home and has now returned to help our patients with their financial needs. She loves being back in the caring & family atmosphere to which Dr. Waggener and his team have dedicated themselves.
Outside the office Jodi and her family enjoy spending time at the beach, surfing, camping, and spending time outside with their Boston Terriers. Having been raised outside of Boston it is a given that she is a New England Patriot Fan and enjoys watching them play. Michelle grew up here in Brevard County and is a graduate of Eastern Florida State College. She has been an expanded functions dental assistant since 2014.
Michelle is very passionate about providing quality care and especially helping patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit.
In her spare time, Michelle loves to give back to the community through volunteer dentistry.
Outside the office, Michelle spends most of her free time with her daughter, Layla. Together they enjoy spending time with family, travelling and enjoying the outdoors.
Teresa is the office comptroller. She is in charge of vendor accounts, payroll, and Human Resources. Outside of her office duties, she loves her grandchildren, church, reading, and British TV mysteries.
